Background:
Across Nigeria, millions of households face food insecurity due to rising inflation, unemployment, and the lingering effects of climate change and conflict. Food banks serve as lifelines for these vulnerable populations, but the demand for support continues to outpace resources.

While individual food banks are doing incredible work at the grassroots level, a networked approach is essential to scale up interventions, respond faster to emergencies, and ensure no community is left behind.

Objective:
To raise funds and mobilize support for a coordinated network of food banks working to combat hunger, improve nutrition, and strengthen food security across the country.

Goals:

• Raise ₦5,000,000 over 5 months to support food procurement and distribution.

• Build capacity in logistics, storage, and data management across partner food banks.

• Develop a shared emergency relief fund accessible by member food banks.

• Raise awareness about hunger issues and the role of food banks in sustainable development.
